FIRST-YEAR ODYSSEY & TRANSFER LAUNCH SEMINAR PROGRAM

The First-Year Odyssey seminars are designed to introduce first-year students to the academic life of the University. These seminars allow students to engage with faculty and other first-year students in a small class environment to learn about the unique academic culture the University offers. Faculty will share their passion for research, teaching, and service as students begin their academic journey at UGA.

The Transfer Launch Seminars are one-credit, small-group seminars designed to support undergraduate transfer students in their first semester at UGA. These seminars provide undergraduate transfer students with the opportunity to build meaningful connections with faculty right away as they explore academic topics in a small class environment.
