Jeb Johnson

Assistant Director of Development

Jeb Johnson serves as Assistant Director of Development for the Franklin College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Georgia, where he works with alumni and donors to make philanthropic impacts on the University. He primarily focuses on the Biological, Physical, and Mathematical Sciences within Franklin College.

Jeb is originally from Moultrie, GA. He began his college career at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College before earning both his B.A. in Biology and MBA from Mercer University, where he was also a baseball pitcher. During his time at Mercer, he participated in both undergraduate genetic research and graduate equity research, gaining hands-on experience in both genetics and finance.

During his collegiate baseball career, he pitched 259.1 innings, recorded 249 strikeouts, and went 2–0 against top five nationally ranked teams.
