Neil Lyall

Senior Associate Dean for Academic Operations

In his role of Senior Associate Dean, Neil Lyall provides leadership over the portfolio of Academic Operations. This includes enrollment management and workforce planning; oversight over instructional budgets and summer instruction planning; providing guidance on financial and budgetary matters; organizing and leading the process of faculty recruitment, hiring, and onboarding; coordinating strategic instructional and research infrastructure; and liaising with the Morehead Honors College.

Dr. Lyall is a Professor of Mathematics. His primary research interests lie in the fields of Harmonic Analysis and Arithmetic Combinatorics. He has been a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics since 2004.
