Nearly 80 million people around the world speak Korean and, as an area of study, it’s growing in popularity. Korea’s booming tech scene and rise in pop culture (from K-pop to wildly popular streaming series). 

You can study Korean as an area of emphasis within the Asian Language and Literature major, or choose it as a minor.
