Advancing Franklin: Board of Advisors

The Franklin College Board of Advisors were on campus for their Spring Meeting on Friday, April 29 at the Tate Student Center.  This distinguished group of supporters represents a variety of expertise and accomplishments across the spectrum of American business and industry, joined together by their commitment to the Franklin College and the University of Georgia. As part of their visit to campus, the group met with students and toured the Science Learning Center, which, if you haven't seen it lately, is still under construction but taking great shape at the South end of Brooks Mall.

The Board's Spring meeting was planned to coincide with the UGA Alumni Seminar, which featured a presentation by new Franklin College Board member Roger Hunter of NASA on the Cube Satellite program.

We thank the Board for their service to the college and their indispensable dedication to the future of our departments, centers, institutes and programs, as well as to the many thousands of UGA students who benefit from their generosity.
